Your Agreement With Us:

  4. Contract Creation: A legally binding contract is formed when goods are dispatched or collected. We may decline any order and will notify you if we do.

  5. Payment Verification: We may use information, including credit checks, to protect against fraud. If payment cannot be authorized, we may suggest an alternative payment method.

Delivery:

  1. Delivery Methods: We use our own vehicles and third-party logistics for deliveries, choosing carriers based on the product and your location.

  2. Delivery Areas: We deliver to most UK postcodes, but some may require a separate quote due to distance. Certain areas may use a kerbside palletised delivery service.

  3. Delivery Charges: For single items, 1 cost applies. For multiple items, the highest delivery cost is charged first and for additional items more costs will apply if palletised.

  4. Delivery Options: We offer three service levels:

    • Standard: Up to 5-7 working days
    • Express: Within 3 working days (additional charge)
    • Next Day: (additional charge)
  5. Delivery Timing: Delivery dates are approximate and can be affected by factors outside our control. We’ll notify you of any delays.

  6. Free Delivery Promotions: These apply to specific items for a limited time.

  7. Delivery Address: We only deliver to the address provided in your order.

  8. Working Days: Delivery times exclude weekends and bank holidays and start after full payment is received.

  9. Delivery Notification: Our driver will call you 20 minutes to an hour before delivery. Please provide all relevant contact numbers.

  10. Rescheduling Deliveries: If you cannot accept delivery, notify our Dispatch Team at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a second delivery fee.

  11. Delivery Service: Our standard service is a one-man delivery to the doorstep only. If special circumstances apply (e.g., stairs, access restrictions), inform us at the time of purchase, which may incur an additional charge.

  12. Liability: Delivery is to your door only, and we are not responsible for any damage beyond that point. Inspect your goods before booking fitters; we are not liable for fitting-related costs due to delays.

  13. Refunds: Delivery charges are non-refundable in any circumstances.

 

Damaged Goods:

  1. Inspection Requirement: You must inspect your goods thoroughly upon delivery before signing the driver’s notes. If someone else signs for you, they assume responsibility.

  2. New Graded and Ex-Display Items:

    • If you find unreported damage, inform the driver immediately, note it on the delivery documents, and contact us at  while the driver is present.
    • If outside business hours, make a note of the damage and return the item with the driver. Our After-Sales Team will follow up.
    • Failure to follow this procedure may result in you being liable for delivery or collection costs.
    • No claims for damage will be accepted after the driver’s notes are signed as 'received' or 'unchecked.'
    • Claims for damage or shortages must be reported within 48 hours.
  3. Brand New Boxed Items:

    • Any damage to the packaging or item must be noted on the delivery paperwork, and the item should be rejected and returned with the driver.
    • If you do not report damage, you are responsible for the goods, and any loss or damage is at your expense.
    • Claims for damage or shortages must be reported within 48 hours.
  4. Replacement: We aim to replace damaged items as quickly as possible.

 

Faulty Items:

  1. Identifying Faults: If your product is faulty after fitting (preventing basic operation, not including cosmetic issues), contact the manufacturer or us immediately after checking the troubleshooting section of the User Manual.

  2. Free Engineer Visit: An approved engineer will visit to assess the fault at no charge.

  3. Exclusions: The warranty does not cover faults due to accident, neglect, misuse, normal wear and tear, or routine maintenance.

  4. Repair Process:

    • If diagnosed as faulty, the manufacturer will attempt to repair it.
    • If it cannot be repaired or exchanged, we may collect the item for repair or offer a comparable replacement.
    • If no suitable replacement is available, a refund will be issued, factoring in any benefits, missing accessories, or damage.
  5. Installation Costs: We are not responsible for costs related to the de-installation or re-installation of built-in or integrated appliances.

  6. Engineer Requirement: Faulty items must be evaluated by an authorized service engineer. If the item is not found faulty, you may incur a call-out or collection charge.

  7. Liability: We are not liable for claims or losses from product failures. We recommend covering contents used in our products under your home insurance.

  8. Usage Restrictions: Products are for domestic use only. Warranty is void for commercial use.

  9. Warranty Conditions: The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser named on the invoice. Only they can claim service under warranty.

  10. Return to Base Warranty:

    • If a fault occurs, contact us to arrange repair. We aim to collect, repair, and return the item within two weeks.
    • You must disconnect the item for collection and reconnect it after repair.
    • Items will only be collected and returned to the original billing or delivery address. Include your invoice number and fault description for collection.

Cancellation and Returns:

  1. Cancellation Rights: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (2014), you can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods for a full refund of the product cost and initial delivery charge.

  7. Refund Process: A refund will be issued upon satisfactory inspection of the returned goods.

  8. Cancellation Before Delivery: You can cancel your order before delivery, but a cancellation charge of 20% of the product price applies if the goods have already been dispatched.

 

Collection:

  1. Collection Options: Orders made online or via the Call Centre can be collected from one of our locations.

  2. Contact Information: You must provide a telephone number when choosing in-store collection. We will inform you of the goods' location.

  3. Alternative Locations: If the goods are not at your preferred location, we can arrange for collection from another site, which may take a few days.

  4. Collection Notification: Once notified that your goods are ready, you must collect them within 5 working days. Bring the card used for payment and an official ID.

  5. Responsibility for Delays: We are not liable for any losses due to delays in making items available for collection.

  6. Courier Arrangements: If you arrange for a courier to collect the item, email us with the courier’s name and collection date. Collections can only occur between 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

  7. Courier Check: The courier must check and sign for the item upon collection. We do not accept returns for damage if you use your own courier, so we recommend insuring the items during transport.

 

Removal of Old Appliance (Recycle)

  1. Requesting Removal: You must request the removal of your old appliance when placing your order for BRISTOL ORDERS ONLY. This service is subject to a charge and availability.

  2. Charge Details: The charge is for booking space on the delivery vehicle and is non-refundable. There is no fee for disposing of the old appliance.

  3. Environmental Compliance: All removed appliances will be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner, following the WEEE directive. Removal is done on a one-for-one basis.

  4. Collection Conditions:

    • Old appliances must be safely disconnected.
    • They should be readily available outside the property on the day of delivery.
    • Refrigeration units must be empty and fully defrosted.
  5. No Refund Policy: If the conditions for removal are not met, the old appliance will not be collected, and the recycling charge will not be refunded.

 

Installation & Connection:

  1. Service Availability: Installation and connection services may be offered, subject to charges and availability. Check prices and availability before delivery.

  2. Gas Appliances: We can install or disconnect any DOMESTIC gas appliance, whether freestanding or built-in.

  3. Connection Services: We will connect washers, washer dryers, dishwashers, fridge freezers, and electrical cooking appliances to existing connections within one metre of their permanent position. We do not modify hoses, pipework, or cables, nor do we perform carpentry or plumbing.

  4. Conditions for Installation:

    • All old appliances must be fully removed.
    • All connections must be readily available.
    • Access to the installation area must be easy.
    • The installation area must be clear of clutter.
  5. Refund Policy: If the conditions for installation are not met, the installation will not be performed, and the installation charge will not be refunded.

  6. Service Limitations: This service is limited, so please confirm availability by calling .

 

Assembly:

  1. Service Availability: Assembly is offered only for products specifically marked as eligible. If assembly is not available as an add-on, it cannot be provided.

  2. Product Focus: The assembly service primarily applies to side-by-side food centers, which come in separate units and require assembly.

  3. Charges and Availability: The service is subject to charges and availability. Check prices and availability before delivery.

  4. Location Requirements: Assembly can only be performed in ground floor residences with adequate working space.

  5. Preparation: You must prepare the floorspace by clearing and ensuring it is flat before assembly.

 

Product Descriptions:

  1. Color Accuracy: We strive to display colors as accurately as possible, but cannot guarantee that your monitor will reflect the true color of the actual product.

  2. Ex-Display/Graded Appliances: We will describe any visible damage (like dents or scratches) on ex-display or graded appliances, which do not affect performance or warranty.

  3. Measurements: All sizes, weights, and measurements are approximate.

  4. Compliance: Products are designed to comply with UK health and safety laws, but we cannot guarantee compliance with laws outside the UK.

  5. Image Accuracy: Images are sourced from manufacturers or public-domain sources and are intended for approximate descriptions only. Full specifications are available from the manufacturer’s brochures or websites.

  6. Missing Non-Essential Items: Graded and ex-display products may not include non-essential items (e.g., fixing screws, recipe books) that do not affect functionality. Contact us for clarification on what is included.

  1. Privacy Commitment: We are dedicated to protecting your privacy and will use your information lawfully, in line with the Data Protection Act 1998.

  2. Information Collection: We collect information to process your orders and enhance your service experience. You can opt out of future marketing emails.

  3. Sensitive Information: We will not collect sensitive information without your explicit consent. You can request to check and correct any inaccuracies in your data.

  1. Coverage: The warranty covers costs for parts, labor, and callout charges if a covered component fails suddenly. Validity periods are 12, 24, 36, or 48 months, as specified in your application form.

  2. Automatic Benefits: Coverage includes mechanical/electrical breakdowns during normal working hours (9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday), following the terms and conditions in the warranty document.

  3. Exclusions: The warranty does not cover:

    • Callout charges if no fault is found.
    • Consumables or accessories not included with the original product.
    • Accidental damage or misuse.
    • Products used in commercial settings or beyond normal domestic use.
    • Non-compliance with manufacturer instructions.
    • Issues arising before coverage starts.
    • Routine maintenance and wear and tear.
    • Deliberate damage or neglect.
    • Cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches or dents).
    • Claims due to power supply issues or inadequate ventilation.
